Fall TV preview: South Park, Gotham, The Walking Dead + more!

Summer is fading into fall, the days are getting shorter, and TV is getting better again! All the best shows have had their summer vacation, but soon they’re back at work for our viewing pleasure.

Here’s what you’ve got to look forward to in the coming cooler nights:

Wednesday September 14

SOUTH PARK SEASON 20
Comedy Central
The big two oh. And nobody is gonna celebrate such a milestone harder than South Park. They’ve even done a video to commemorate being part of our lives for so long.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY SEASON 6
FX
The theme behind the new season is still pretty unknown, and the 26, TWENTY SIX, teaser trailers that have been released aren’t giving much away other than it’s certainly going to be hella creepy. We wouldn’t have you any other way AHS.

Monday September 19

GOTHAM SEASON 3
Fox
Season 2 ended on quite the cliffhanger, with a whole host of villains making their way to Gotham to cause havoc. JIm Gordon’s life was turned upside down, and it doesn’t look like it’s going back to normal anytime soon from the Season 3 trailers.

THE BIG BANG THEORY SEASON 10
CBS
Season 9 ended abruptly, and for a while there were doubts as to whether there would even be a Season 10, but we got there. Season 10 picks up right where 9 left us, with the awkward morning after the night before. And yes, it’s moving to Mondays.

Sunday September 25

THE SIMPSONS SEASON 28
Fox
A few season’s ago it looked like the best thing to do would be to put this old dog out of its misery, but Season 27 breathed life back into the show. Hopefully this season will be just as good, or even better!

BOB’S BURGERS SEASON 7
Fox
Bob and his misfit family will be back on our screens, and I’ve gotta admit summer sucks without them! What even is life without a new song or Gene catchphrase each week?

Sunday October 23

The Walking Dead
AMC
The wait is almost over. The insanity that has grown in all of us over the past few months will finally be released, and we can all mourn together. It’s gonna be an emotional start to the season, and probably super stressful as the group are forced to get used to being under Negan’s control. But fans of the comic have to admit, Negan is THE ultimate love to hate character, and the idea of seeing him in all his fucking glory in live action is pretty darn exciting. Plus, TALKING DEAD will bring the wonderfully enthusiastic Chris Hardwick back to our screens to deal with whatever we’re forced to witness.
